The Frozen Eagle
Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon, bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeastern Iceland. Its still, blue waters are dotted with icebergs from the surrounding Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier.
This was my first ever encounter with icebergs, although in Iceland they are relatively smaller than in Greenland, they are still impressive and fascinating.
By the time I reached the lagoon, I had travelled for hours and had day after day of rain and wind. Seeing this view really lifted my spirit and before I knew it my inspiration kicked in and I was moving around to find the right composition to enhance the shape and the colours of the ice.

Frame Mount note: The sizes indicated on the website are relevant to the photo itself, once the 5cm frame mount is added the frame size will increase 10 cm on both length and height. For example, a photo of 60 x 90 cm will have a frame of 70 x 100 cm. One exception is the 80 x 120 cm Frame which is unavailable with a mount.
