After New York… Sydney

I am proud to announce my selection as a finalist in the esteemed HEAD ON Landscape Awards held in Sydney. These awards, inaugurated in 2013, represent a celebration of artistic innovation in landscape photography, showcasing the works of 40 finalists, including mine, at the iconic Bondi Beach for an entire month. This exhibition marks a significant event in the landscape photography realm, underscoring the diversity and creativity within this captivating visual genre.
The Head On Landscape Awards serve as a testament to the photographers who challenge traditional perceptions of landscape photography. They delve deep into the intricacies of our relationship with the environment, capturing the interplay between natural landscapes and the constructed spaces that define our existence. This exploration prompts viewers to contemplate their connection with the world around them.
Regrettably, I was unable to attend the exhibition in person. Nevertheless, the overwhelming feedback I received regarding my photograph’s impact and resonance is both humbling and gratifying. It reaffirms the power of visual storytelling to evoke emotions and provoke contemplation among its audience.
Becoming a finalist in such a prestigious event, and witnessing the positive reception of my work is an honour.
