As a photographer specialising in interior architectural photography for luxury hotels and chalets, each project I undertake is a journey of creative exploration. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing the stunning Hotel Chalet Blythe nestled in the ski resort of Les Gets. From the moment I stepped foot into this five-star retreat, I knew I was embarking on something truly special.
Behind the grandeur of Hotel Chalet Blythe lies a collaborative effort of visionary minds. From the meticulous craftsmanship of Grosset Jeanin to the innovative designs of Architect Marullaz and the impeccable interiors by Shep and Kyles, every detail exudes sophistication and elegance. It’s a testament to the dedication and creativity of all involved.
Capturing the essence of such a remarkable property requires more than just technical skill—it demands an artistic eye and a deep appreciation for the interplay of light, space, and design. For me, every interior job is an opportunity to see beyond the lens, to uncover the hidden beauty and tell a story through my photographs.
Sometimes, the perfect shot required unconventional methods. I’ve found myself contorting into strange positions, braving freezing temperatures outdoors, just to capture the ideal composition from a balcony into the room. There were moments when I had my assistent to lay on the floor to prop open a door, allowing my camera to peek through corridors and capture scenes from adjoining rooms. In one memorable session, I even donned a swimming costume and submerged my tripod in water to achieve a unique perspective of the hotel’s swimming pool.

But it’s these moments of creative experimentation that elevate the final result, transforming a mere photograph into a work of art. It’s about pushing boundaries, challenging perceptions, and ultimately, creating something extraordinary.
